Public Cloud Delivery Team Leader

London Area, United Kingdom Six Degrees Full time

Six Degrees is a leading secure, integrated cloud services provider, where everyone is welcome. We believe success lies in harnessing a truly diverse and inclusive culture.

Our business protects UK organisations with the goal of enabling them to operate effectively and securely in the cloud, by giving them secure platforms to innovate and grow. We support our customers on their digital transformation journey regardless of their maturity.

This role sits within the Six Degrees Professional Services Technical Delivery team, which is responsible for the delivery of consultancy & engineering services supporting clients with transition, transformation, and modernisation across Private Cloud, Public Cloud and Connectivity services.

The core focus of this role will be to provide consultation services to our customers on Azure solutions, supporting our customers with transition, transformation, and modernization.

Supporting the Pre-Sales team with scoping, performing cloud assessments, creating low-level designs, and owning the solution through the delivery process. As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Azure delivery team and a point of escalation for the engineers.

You should be a highly skilled professional - someone who is well-educated, dedicated, a quick learner, adaptable, and will be able to pick up a new technology with relative ease. You will need strong technical skills with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Server technologies.

You will also need to be comfortable communicating regularly with clients. The role is customer facing and you will be expected to engage with external customers confidently and with passion. Although we need you to be technical adept, it is as important that every client feels we have given them 100% every time.

You will work closely with other teams and business units to support the development of Professional Services Public Cloud offerings.

As the leader of the Public Cloud Delivery Team, you will oversee the progress of project activities, offering the Project Manager insights into the status of your tasks while remaining mindful of time and budget limitations.

It is essential for you to keep your technical expertise up to date and to suggest modifications to 6DG Standards when appropriate. Additionally, you should possess the capability to work collaboratively with PS Pre-Sales specialists on opportunity assessments and effort estimations.

We anticipate that you have at least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services in a managed service provider setting, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The Public Cloud Delivery Team Leader role requires experience in a project environment and collaboration with Project Managers.
