Registry Trust is committed to driving innovation in the debt and credit sectors by providing data-driven insights that inform policy and business decisions. As the economy recovers from the cost of living crisis and the impact of Covid, the role of data in rebuilding household finances and shaping policies on consumer and small business debt will become even more critical. With this in mind, we are now seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our team, bringing advanced analytics, business insight expertise, and innovative thinking on the use of data to strengthen our market impact and support our commercial strategy. This role will also directly support our Public Data for the Public Good mission and data ambitions. We are particularly looking for someone with a creative mindset, capable of thinking outside the box, to help shape our future plans through insightful analysis and broader strategic thinking.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and engaging with the Executive Team, the role requires a deep understanding of Registry Trust's mission and sectors, strong attention to detail, and the ability to influence decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Insights and Reporting: Utilise county court judgment and external financial and socio-economic data to produce reports on the UK economy, household finances, and financial vulnerability, delivering quarterly insights that inform consumer and small business policy in the debt and credit sectors.
- Advanced Analytics and Data Integration: Use modelling software to generate accurate statistical outputs, integrate RTL data with other datasets, and ensure data quality and integrity in all reports.
- Trend Analysis and Business Insight: Identify and analyse trends (such as changes in county court judgments, shifts in household debt levels, emerging patterns of financial vulnerability, and socio-economic impacts on small businesses) using RTL and external datasets.
- Stakeholder Presentations and Marketing Support: Create tailored presentations and insights for senior stakeholders, including government bodies, financial services, and civil society organisations.
- Collaboration and Commercial Growth: Collaborate with and support the wider senior management team to shape future design, commercial opportunities, and public policy priorities through enhanced data analysis and insights.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and inspire the data analyst team member, including managing guest analysts (e.g., interns and students).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with external stakeholders and provide data insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with ISMS and Data Protection regulations through regular audits.
- Continuously improve processes for efficiency and communicate complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Stay updated on financial services trends and emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
