A fantastic opportunity for a 5+ PQE lawyer to join a growing leader in the rail industry.


Our Client:

  • The business are market leaders in their sector and boasts some of the transport industry’s most esteemed brands as clients.
  • Operating across 18 countries.
  • Legal Team of 6.
  • This a newly created Legal Counsel position. You’ll be reporting into the Head of Legal as part of a tight knit and well gelled team.
  • Flexible working arrangement, the team are in the London office 3 days per week.


The Role:

  • Our client are looking for a generalist who is happy to turn their hand to matters in finance law.
  • Working with the Head of Legal on debt and equity financing activities. You’ll be supported in this by external counsel.
  • Lead on asset acquisitions and financings.
  • Structuring, drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts.
  • Regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, and contentious matters.
  • Management of and collaboration with external counsel.
  • Stakeholder management across the business.


Your Profile:

  • 5+ years PQE. England & Wales Qualified.
  • Solid commercial transactional skillset.
  • Exposure to debt and equity finance matters.
  • Private Practice experience at a reputable international law firm.
  • In-house experience desirable.
  • A personable team player who is excited about working closely with the team and upholding their excellent culture.
