The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a dynamic school in the Bargoed area. This full-time role involves working with pupils across a range of ages and abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with a range of SEN requirements, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to provide consistent support for students.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and personal growth.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each pupil’s development.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to a supportive and professional working environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Essential: Previous experience working with children and young people with SEN.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• The ability to teach across different ages and abilities within the school.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment for all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
