Responsibilities of aReception teacher:
- Asa Reception teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral careof children taking their final steps in early years promotingteamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
- Teaching the EYFS curriculum togroups of children while also focusing on each individual childslearning targets encouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
- Further developing maths abilityand introducing fractions statistics and geometry
- Help children develop their writing ability by creatingplots characters and settings for stories.
- Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionallyreporting back toparents
