Are you passionate about great customer service? If so then this role may be just for you Our Betting Supervisors assist in the successful running of the tote by providing a friendly and efficient service to ensure customer happiness whilst operating effective cash control procedures.

• Support the Office Manager in implementing and following procedures concerning tote ticket sales;
• Support the Office Manager with the recruitment, induction, training, development and management of tote staff;
• Schedule, lead and advise the Tote team to ensure Tote positions are staffed to cope with customer demand and workload is distributed effectively;
• Ensure all Tote positions are marketed accurately with both sales and regulatory signage
• Resolve customer issues promptly with the help of the Office Manager if needed;
• Ensure effective lines of communication to all Tote colleagues at all times
• Develop all Tote colleagues in line with role requirements
• Take positive action to meet department objectives and targets;
• Operate effective cash control procedures;
• Check all tote banking and report cash differences;
• Stay current with relevant legislation regarding all aspects of Tote betting;
• Deputise for the Office Manager when needed;
• To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Office Manager.
• To be responsible for ensuring that all Tote staff are aware of the Work Instruction Notices that are associated with their role and ensure that they have adequate training in those areas;
