Still known today as The Sugar House, this fascinating building used to be a sugar processing factory in the 18th Century. In the 21st century it is known for its excellent wine collection  The Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin is one of three Signature Hotels in the Hotel du Vin brand portfolio and boasts one of the best views in Clifton, best taken from it's sweeping terrace overlooking the gorge; almost within touching distance of the Clifton Suspension Bridge.   So, let’s cut to the chase… are you looking for a new challenge? Well, it would appear this may be your lucky day We’re looking to recruit a sales superstar to drive the hotel sales strategy in the design, delivery and monitoring of all aspects of day-to-day sales activities, primarily focusing on groups, events and dining.

The role will be heavily pro-active working with the M&E teams and Revenue teams to drive Weddings, Corporate groups and Residential business, as well as F&B. You will be an accomplished account manager who takes pride in your client relationships; encouraging repeat business and year round support of our brands.  You’ll also be a local outreach champion, always looking at ways to engage with the local community and further afield, to raise awareness and increase engagement.

You’ll be generating enquiries and helping to maximise conversion, whilst showcasing our fabulous hotel and services at every opportunity. You will be a self starter, organised and able to prioritize actions whilst managing tasks through to completion. 

 It goes without saying that excellent communication skills in both verbal and oral are essential as is confidence in presenting to senior decision makers in other businesses.   Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a working knowledge of the Hotel industry.
