Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards

We are focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We are looking for another BANK worker to complete a small team to assist 'J' who has recently moved in to her own purpose built flat. Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a Female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act .

'J' is loving life in her own home, making choices and doing things for herself for the first time She is really looking forward to meeting you too She needs your help and support with some personal care and much more She wants your support to enable her to enjoy all of her interests and hobbies. She likes to go out for lunch or shopping and has her own adapted car, that if you can drive would be a great advantage

'J' also loves to travel, in this country, and abroad. She would love to go to America 'J' also likes a bit of a flutter on the horses and playing bingo too. She loves Disney and Music, especially from the 80's, and 'J' loves to have a fun She has a great sense of humour

'J' has a brain injury and mobilises with a wheelchair, so some specialist paid training will be required. We will provide all of the support and training you will need through a mix of online and face to face development. You can rely on us to be there for you throughout your journey, as we want you to be confident and successful in your new role Your values:

It takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognise that not everyone who might be perfect for the role, will have any professional experience. This is why we are really passionate about recruiting to your values. This means we can recruit from all walks of life, from people with vast experience in support work or care assistant roles, to those with lived experiences looking after friends or family members with disabilities, to people with other transferable skills or those with no experience at all.

Do you have some, or all of the following attributes? A caring nature, with a mature outlook Patience, Resilience and Determination Compassion, Sensitivity, and Empathy Honesty and Reliability A strong work ethic, and a natural problem solver Here at Community Integrated Care, we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to be an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all – where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated, and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work. By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.
We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there. You can read more about this by clicking here.
