Role Overview:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of our Key Stage 2 students. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, fostering a love of learning and equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and stimulating lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, incorporating a range of teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.
  • Utilize ongoing assessment to monitor student progress and provide targeted support and intervention where needed, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive and engaging curriculum that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their education journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) within a primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with older children and a commitment to their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and promote independent learning.
  • A reflective practitioner mindset, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
