Continuous Improvement Engineer 
Coleshill - West Midlands 

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join us as an integral part of our Coleshill team. This role is critical to cutting costs, introducing fresh procedures, and enhancing the site's operational effectiveness. This position will be in charge of ensuring that each division in the warehouse is operating as it should, handling any problems, and consistently enhancing operations while abiding by health and safety protocols.


How will you contribute?

Make informed decisions related to the purchase or lease of capital equipment including forklifts, generators, compactors, and others as and when the business needs. Utilise Lean Standards through everyday assignments including, PFEP, value stream mapping and engineering studies. Proactively improve onsite processes to assist with cost, time, and waste reductions Manage the engineering function for projects, including budget, process, and equipment. Monitor and review headcount data, to analyse the impact on the business and create improvement initiatives for this. Lead on the continuous improvement initiatives, including improvements to systems and utilising space with plans for an expansion. Work collaboratively, to implement solutions, with all the operations, account management and facilities and project management teams. Build and maintain relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and all operational staff.

What will you bring:

Strong optimisation experience within a logistics, automotive or manufacturing environment A Masters/bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering subject is required  At least 3 years experience in a similar role. Lean 6 Sigma experience would be preferred. Ability to interpret data and present conclusions and improvement initiatives from the analysis. Highly developed IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft applications and project management software. Ideally experienced with supply chain applications such as WMS, TMS, OMS and SCM
