Job summary

To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the Specialist Nurse Trainers for Children with Disabilities Specialist Disabilities Nurses and , who are based in Lincoln with a County-wide remit

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Specialist Nurse Trainers for Children with Disabilities and the Specialist Disabilities Nurses based at St Francis Special School, Lincoln To type all correspondence, prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings and ensure that these are disseminated appropriately. To arrange meetings, training sessions and appointments with schools, professionals and families who access the service, To work flexibly to ensure the successful smooth running of the team by demonstrating sound communication skills, a tactful, empathetic and calm manner. To prepare materials for presentations as required using Power point, Microsoft Word, Excel. To maintain the team databases to ensure all information accurately recorded in line with Trust policies. To receive and make telephone calls on behalf of the team, to accurately take messages and disseminate the information and to make records of all calls. To have a working knowledge of the policies and procedures of ULHT, to maintain strict confidentiality at all times and to have a working knowledge of the Intranet and ULHT emailing systems (training will be provided). To photocopy, and carry out filing duties and to keep accurate records of reports and statistics and create a filing system in order to maintain optimum efficiency. To assist in the production of leaflets and information sheets and to assist in the promotion of the service.
