Logistic Assistant

Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for Logistic Assistant to join our growing team. 

Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Your responsibilities as Logistic Assistant will include but not limited to:

• To support on inbound and outbound shipments.
• To coordinate with freight forwarders and transportation companies.
• Planning shipments based on warehouse availability and buyers/shippers/suppliers' requests.
• Track shipment orders to ensure timely deliveries with forwarders/shippers.
• Manage delivery booking with warehouse receiving capacity.
• Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
• Maintain updated records of orders for internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the capacity of our warehouse and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Provide information to buyers/shippers/suppliers about the status of their shipment orders.
• Tracking shipment orders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Preparing shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, purchase orders and bills of lading etc.).
• Work closely warehouse operations team to ensure inventory levels are up-to-date.
• Any other assignments as instructed by superior as and when required.

Candidate must have the following requirement:

• At least 2 years experienced in Logistic, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management environment.
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is an advantage.
• Computer literate - MS Words, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Possess strong administrative, planning and people management & organizational skills.
• Familiar with custom clearance documentation process.
