Job Introduction
An opportunity his available for an Operator (Stores) based in Tipton.
As an Operator (Stores), duties may include carrying out routine inspection, maintenance and repairs of tools and PPE, assisting with the maintenance of stores and with the inspection of network assets as required. All necessary training will be provided
To apply, you will need to hold English & Maths GCSE (1-9/G-A*) or equivalent qualification deemed to be at the same level in these subjects, such as Functional Skills.
Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.
If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.
Main responsibilities
The working environment requires quick, decisive and responsible thinking and actions to meet the demands of the role. You will need to be flexible in your approach to assist the team in meeting it's objectives.
Ideal candidate
Ideally you will be licensed to drive a Fork Lift Truck although training can be provided. In addition, a full driving license is required
You will need to be mobile throughout the area and may be required to undertake out of hours standby duties as and when necessary, to meet business needs.
