An exciting opportunity has arisen in a lovely secondary school in the Torfaen area to teach Music and Drama on a fixed 1 year school contract. The school is situated close to public transport links and has a large onsite car park. You’d be joining a friendly and supportive department. The school are seeking a fully qualified teacher that is able to cover both Music and Drama up to KS4.

About you:

  • Fully qualified teacher with QTS.
  • Keen interest in Music and Drama.
  • Able to teach across key stages 3 and 4.
  • Passionate about inspiring young learners.
  • Able to commit to full-time hours until August 2025.
  • Classroom based experience and confident with behaviour management.

About the role:

  • Fixed contract until August 2025.
  • Initially start via Teaching Personnel between September- December.
  • Mixed timetable of Music and Drama classes.
  • Includes responsibilities of lesson planning, marking, parents evenings.
  • Fantastic opportunity to join a thriving secondary school.
  • Meet with Head of Departments prior to the summer holidays.
  • Paid to scale in line with Welsh framework.
