Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Stores Person to work on our Developer Services contract in London.

As the Stores person you will be part of our Developer Services Team who are responsible for the installation of new Services connections and distribution mains across London.

As the Stores Person you will need to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in stores. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Maintain a healthy stock availability for the business demand and ensuring the yard never runs too low of any stock items. Managing the order, issuing and return of plant and equipment.

You will need to take regular stock takes of materials, fittings, and plant. Raise requisitions to the Thames Water procurement team for all fittings and materials. Improve the organization and location of items in the yard. Take delivery of goods with the use of Tele handler when required. Prepare material fittings and equipment for efficient collection by teams.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Do you have any stores and stock management experience? Are you familiar with MS Excel, Microsoft 365 & MS Word experience? This is desirable. Orderwise or digital system stock experience (preferred) Are you forklift and telehandler trained? This is desirable Do you hold a full clean driving licence? This is essential for this role

Additional Information

You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.  You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
