BI / DATA CONSULTANT

We are currently looking for a BI / Data Consultant to join our Data practice based out of our Milton Keynes office.

Duties and responsibilities:

Leverage tools in ETL/ELT product stack to create ingestion packages that incorporate pipeline, data modelling, data quality and error handling Support the creation of detailed specifications documents based on client, industry, and SDG Group guidelines Build and maintain positive relationships with client staff at all levels, by communicating the results efficiently to both technical and non-technical audiences Develop technical cloud architecture, testing and other technical aspects of solution implementation Understand required data, where it resides and their underlying structure to transform through SQL queries Build dimensional data models and schemas per customer requirements Self-manage tasks to execute project deliverables on time and according to plan, and accurately report progress, obstacles, and successes throughout development milestones

Qualifications:

The candidate must be able to work as a team, communicate openly and honestly, and be interested in taking on growing responsibilities within the company.

Required:

2+ years of experience with ETL/Pipeline tools 3+ years of database experience / SQL development Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) Have good communication and presentation skills Have an Agile/Scrum way of working Logical approach to problem solving
