About your new role

As part of our continued growth we are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. You will be responsible for taking ownership of our outbound Business Development function by identifying and researching target companies, industries, and decision-makers to develop a pipeline of potential clients with the aim to generate additional sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager you are expected to undertake the following responsibilities as part of your day to day activities:

  • Creating a new sales pipeline with prospects via phone, email and social media.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, looking for opportunities to upsell products / expand the use of services.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets by negotiating and closing sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Working with individuals around the business to prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations of our software products with the aim of securing additional business.
  • Potentially growing out and leading your own sales team.

Requirements

To be successful for this role you will ideally meet these requirements

  • Desirable: alongside fluent English, the ability to speak one or more of our supported languages fluently - German, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese or French.
  • Proven experience in sales within the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Natural relationship builder with the ability to quickly build rapport and influence across all levels.
