Currently, we are seeking a self-motivated Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. We are looking for someone who is a data-driven problem solver, enthusiastic about technology and teamwork. You excel in fast-paced settings and enjoy learning and developing alongside industry experts.

Data plays a crucial role in setting us apart in the market, offering significant potential for guiding business decisions and enhancing customer value. Our Technology team is constructing a new Data platform capability as part of a broader re-platforming of our leasing business. This presents an excellent opportunity to oversee the entire data process throughout the data life cycle. Collaborating with a Technology Stack, you will work with Visual studio, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI and other parts of the engineering stack, whilst collaborating with engineers, testers, and business professionals in an Agile environment.

WHAT'S THE ROLE

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing  robust data applications powered by cutting-edge technologies like Azure DataFactory, PowerBI, Qlikview, and SSRS.
  • Collaborating closely with product owners and stakeholders , translating business needs into impactful technical solutions.
  • Continuous learning and development:  Gain invaluable mentorship from senior developers and participate in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ownership and accountability:  Drive the design and implementation of clean, efficient, and effective data solutions that meet the highest standards.

WHAT CAN YOU OFFER

  • Data Visualization : Strong skills in Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • SQL Expertise : Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Data Modeling : Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Report Building : Experience in creating data visualisations and reports.
