We are looking for

a suitably qualified therapist to join our team. This is a rotational post, providing a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of paediatric specialities including neurosciences, acute medical and orthopaedics. Other rotations may be available.

If you have previous paediatric experience or a passion to develop new skills in this speciality we would love to hear from you.

To be an integral member of the paediatric physiotherapy team, providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents presenting with a wide variety of paediatric disorders to the Children’s Hospital. This caseload will include paediatric inpatients and outpatients, in a variety of specialist rotations. Support and assist senior physiotherapy staff in the development of the service. To work closely with specialist physiotherapists and multidisciplinary team to deliver a regional, shared-care service. Be responsible for an inpatient and outpatient caseload, providing assessment and treatment of children presenting with diverse conditions and complex needs. The delivery of treatment will be individualised. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, working independently without direct supervision. Maintain a Continuous Professional Development portfolio and undertake CPD activities such as attending and delivering in-service training and relevant post graduate courses.
