We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designers tojoin our platform development team. In this role you will workclosely with product managers developers and stakeholders to designand refine the user interface and user experience of our platform.You will be responsible for creating usercentred designs byunderstanding business requirements the voice of the customer userjourneys customer feedback and usabilityfindings.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaboratewith product management and engineering to define and implementinnovative solutions for the product direction visuals andexperience.
  • Execute all visual design stagesfrom concept to final handoff toengineering.
  • Conceptualise original ideas thatbring simplicity and userfriendliness to complex designroadblocks.
  • Create wireframes storyboards userflows process flows and site maps to effectively communicateinteraction and design ideas.
  • Present anddefend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers andexecutive level stakeholders.
  • Conduct userresearch and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establishand promote design guidelines best practices andstandards.
  • Understand product specificationsand user psychology.
  • Conduct concept andusability testing and gather feedback.
  • Developwireframes and prototypes around customerneeds.
  • Solve UX problems such as usability orfindability using creativeapproach.
  • Communicate design ideas andprototypes to developers.
  • Keep abreast ofcompetitor products and industrytrends.
Qualifications:
  • ProvenUX/UI experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating designskills.
  • Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScriptfor rapid prototyping is a plus.
  • Proficiency inusing Figma UX/UI design software and tools orequivalent.
  • Experience in using UX design bestpractices to design solutions and a deep understanding ofmobilefirst and responsive design.
  • A solidgrasp of usercentred design and testing methodologies subsystemsand usability and accessibilityconcerns.
  • Ability to clearly and effectivelycommunicate design processes ideas and solutions to teams andstakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving skills witha creative approach.
  • Excellent visual designskills with sensitivity to usersysteminteraction.
  • Ability to work effectively in ateam setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concretedesign implications.
  • Bachelors degree in DesignComputer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalentpractical experience.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experience indesigning software solutions.
  • Experience in afastpaced agile developmentenvironment.
  • Certification in UX Design is aplus.
  • Experience with user research andconducting usertesting.

Benefits

Werun an ongoing internship programme within our Product Developmentteam. Interns typically join us for 3 months (often with thepossibility to extend the internship) on an unpaid basis.

All our internships are fulltime and successfulcandidates following the first 3 months will be evaluated for a700.00 per month salary upon successful confirmation as JuniorAssociates.
