PositionOverview

The successful candidatewill be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engagingEnglish curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. Therole entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environmentthat encourages critical thinking creativity and a lifelongappreciation for the writtenword.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Designand deliver captivating English lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools educationalethos.
  • Create a stimulating classroomatmosphere that promotes student engagement andparticipation.
  • Assess and monitor studentprogress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagueswithin the English department and across the school to enrich thelearning experience.
  • Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and educational bestpractices.

Qualificationsand Experience

  • ABachelors degree or higher in English English Literature or arelated field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or an equivalent teachingqualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teachingEnglish at the secondarylevel.
