The role

Where you’ll be based

Located conveniently on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened on this site in 1994, with plenty of free parking.

Essential experience and qualifications for this role

ODP level 3 Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards Excellent organisational and communication skills Sound computer skills and knowledge A registered member with the HCP


What you’ll bring with you

NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions Surgical scrub experience Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Flexible and positive attitude A warm, considerate and empathetic character A strong clinical background. Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Demonstrated computer skills A commitment to the delivery of customer focussed services. Excellent communication and influencing skills. A proven track record and evidence of successfully delivering a change agenda to enhance quality and efficiency. Experience and confidence in effectively meeting compliance to the Governance Framework. Comprehensive understanding of relevant legal and professional care/practice standards and evidence of supporting ongoing professional development.
