CK Group are recruiting for a HS&E Advisor, tojoin a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough, on acontract basis initially for 12months.

Salary:

Hourly:From 20.00 PAYE or 27.00 via Umbrella.

HS&E AdvisorRole:
  • Developmentand update of local HS&Eprocedures.
  • Delivery of local workshops tocompliment company procedures andpolicies.
  • Coordinating/attending meetingsrepresenting HS&E systems and compliance across the UK & Iremit.
  • Support and undertake HS&E auditsand assessments.
  • Ensure regulatory licenses aremaintained and kept relevant.
  • Liaison to safetyand environmental representatives.
  • Supportingthe risk management system i.e. facilitating risk assessors and/orundertaking risk assessments and reviewing control measures inplace.
  • Supporting the environmental managementsystem i.e. the impacts and aspects register &targets.
  • Supporting the Vigilance systems suchas life-safety systems etc.

YourBackground:
  • NEBOSHCertificate; with accreditation to IOSH at least at affiliatelevel.
  • Preferably NEBOSH Diploma and/orEnvironmental qualification.
  • Degree orhigher.
  • Experience of working in anorganisation that relocated ideal, but notcritical.
  • Competent in providing managementsystems and a risk management approach to HS&E.
  • Capable of providing effective decisions onthe shop floor for approving/ authorising works where appropriate,and capable of raising issues upwards to appropriate management foridentification.
  • Individual who is a fantasticcommunicator, engaging and enthusiastic in selling HS&E to ourstakeholders.
