Maintenance Engineer
Poole
£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
Monday to Thursday 9am to3:30pm, Friday 9am to 12:30pm – 37.5 hours per week

Our award winning manufacturing client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global company who are introducing new products and continuously upgrading their existing products

What will the Maintenance Engineer be doing?

  • 50/50 PPM and reactive maintenance(70% mechanical, 30% electrical)
  • Keeping down time and line cut off to a minimum
  • Lead the introduction of new products
  • Participate in cost reduction exercises and introduce new processes, techniques and tooling
  • Provide training
  • Analyse and plan workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency
  • Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and routing


What we are looking for in the Maintenance Engineer?

  • Strong mechanical assembly experience
  • HNC/Degree in Mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • 2D/3D Solidworks or Inventor experience is desired
  • Working knowledge of Lean of Six Sigma is desired
