Building Services Technician Role available with an established food company in Shropshire who are seeking a qualified and experienced building services engineer to join their team. Working Hours – Day Shift Mon - Friday

The aim of the role of Building Services Technician is to ensure the site and site services remain in good working orders and supporting improvement activities and projects as well as maintaining high standards of H&S.

Building Services Technician Main Duties

  • To provide infrastructure, facilities and building maintenance
  • Challenges current processes and practices to identify new opportunities.
  • Carries out equipment and plant condition appraisals.
  • To diagnose simple faults and to test, repair domestic water, Sanitation systems, Basic Single and three phase electrical installation repairs. .
  • To carry out basic plumbing, mechanical and carpentry tasks.
  • Carry out all assigned planned preventative maintenance.
  • Check cooling systems are working without faults.
  • Ensure 5s standards are maintained at all times and operate a clean as you go policy.

Qualifications / Experience Required for the Role:

  • Skilled in buildings and site services maintenance.
  • Background of maintaining equipment within a services/ utilities environment
  • CMMS System experience
  • Fault finding with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry & decorating skills.
  • IEE Wiring regulations qualification.

Other roles you will be currently or recently in, include Building Services Engineer, Site Services Engineer, Site Services technician, Facilities Engineer, Facilities Maintenance Technician  

Remuneration

  • Salary £30 – 40,000 Depending on experience
