Manager Maint

Sensient Colors UK Ltd based in King's Lynn Norfolk have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager. We have a friendly office environment and exciting career opportunities. As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee all capital projects and have an oversight of the maintenance program. Responsible for reducing cost and improving plant effectiveness, including preventative and predicative maintenance, and implementing asset management programs. You will be managing budgets within limits set by the Operations Director and coordinating with various teams to manage strategic projects.

What you’ll do: 

You will manage the maintenance budgets, forecast expenses, and identify cost saving initiatives. Coordinate preventative maintenance and asset condition monitoring to minimize downtime and prolong asset lifespan. You will be responsible for the control of all Contractors working on site, maintaining all relevant Permits to Work and RAMs through a Contractor Management System. You will be managing the site capital process and seek to continually improve the installation of plant such that the facility complies with current and anticipated regulatory and Sensient UK standards; ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.  You will Develop and maintain the strategic 5-year capital plan in conjunction with Operations Director, to ensure the future growth and improvement of the facility.  You will directly manage all aspects of Plant & Equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, working closely with the EHS Lead. You will support the site Zero accident culture. You will be liaising with all key stake holders to ensure all aspects of the business are supported. 

 What you’ll bring: 

Leadership- strategic planning, decision making, team motivation  Lean skills- proficient in TPM and 5s for efficiency and organisation Communication- strong written and verbal communication for clear collaboration  Budgeting- Effective budgeting management, asset management and cost control  Technical skills- Advanced Excel, MS project and AutoCAD proficiency Educated to BSc/BEng in engineering - manufacturing or process engineering
