The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Teach both Geography and Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring lessons are engaging, challenging, and relevant.
  • Develop students’ understanding of diverse cultures, ethical perspectives, global issues, and the physical environment.
  • Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to form reasoned arguments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform planning and address individual needs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Humanities department, sharing innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Support students’ pastoral development, promoting positive behaviour and a love of learning.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
