At Estée Lauder Companies the Consumer is at the heart of everything we do. 

The ELC Consumer Data Analyst role will provide an opportunity to execute and evolve the strategy for data and analytics in an established market-leading company. As ELC advances its data capability within the region, there is a need to find a person who truly turn data and analytics into tangible insights and actions.
Working hand in hand with the Data, Insights & Analytics Director this role will focus on producing analysis that will drive efficiency in understanding the past performance of the business. Identifying these trends and being able to translate them into actionable recommendation will be integral in driving the regional strategy and helping to gain market share in an ever-competitive market.

General:
• Power Estee Lauder Companies portfolio of 29 brands with actionable consumer analytics across all categories (Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance and Haircare)
• Integral in executing the data analytics strategy for the region
• Be a key contact person with our IT/BI Team to ensure our CRM Data Warehouse is maintained and evolved in order to keep up with Business demands
• Evolve our Power BI Reporting suite to ensure a brilliant UX and optimized journey
• Translate requests from the business to embed new reports and dashboards that will help monitor and track key business KPI’s
• Collaborate with other data analytics function across the business (finance, media, CX etc.) to ensure cohesion in data trends and insights being provided
• Insights will focus primarily on consumer behaviors (purchasing habits, mindsets, consumer trends), category insights (product propensities, market forecasting) and channel analytics (changing retail landscape

Role Responsibilities: 
• Matrix into Data, Insights & Analytics Director
• Collaborate with Global Innovation, Trend, and Category Insights Team; Global Corporate Marketing Analytics and Global Retail Channel Team
• Support all corporate, global and brand consumer insight initiatives


Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Excel
• Experienced in data visualisation –Power Bi
• Experienced in performing analytics, segmentation, data mining and campaign management using SQL
• Previous experience operating large-scale CRM systems or programs, plus knowledge of Technology stacks, SCV opportunities and partners 
• Experience of working with Google stacks including BigQuery a plus
• Very good understanding statistical modelling – clustering & regression
• Provide & drive data insights and analytical projects & reports for ELC (Estee Lauder Companies) brands and corporate teams
• Assist brand teams by working closely with wider COE (Centre of Excellence) teams including Media & Innovation, Consumer Insights, Brand Communications and Online teams including CRM to provide relevant insights
• Tackle the challenge of extracting business intelligence from large data sets. Ability to see beyond the numbers
• Proactively suggest ways to visualise complex data sets, generating charts/tables that give insightful views of key business issues and opportunities 
• Liaises across ELC and key functions to educate on the scheduling of published reports ensuring clear communication and how they can be used to identify key insights and trends – experienced in automation
• Champion our retailer CRM data and how brands can extract valuable learnings to power their marketing objectives (CLV, Retention, Demographic, basket etc)
• Is a strong participant and contributor to the creation, sharing and learning culture to provide inspiration and relevant information for ELC brands. 
• Has an understanding of CRM consumer journeys and how they can be enhanced for greater Consumer Lifetime Value
