Our client a recently refurbished luxuryHotel, in Whitby, is seeking an F&B Manager. The hotelstands out as a luxury accommodations leader and looks to be at theforefront of award-winning dining. The client is offering a salarybetween 40,000 to 45,000 plus tronc and a performance bonusdepending on experience with a range of additional benefits

What Does the RoleEntail?

Your role as theF&B Manager will be to lead the restaurant team creating awelcoming environment for all. You will be working alongside therest of the hotel teams, covering staff recruitment, and training,ordering, and invoicing, and to foster up and coming talent. Youwill oversee all aspects of the hotel, providing a positive workatmosphere and being the voice of customers for the site. You willalso be working on group bookings and small events ensuringconsistent communication among the team and balancing operational,administrative and colleague needs. Finally, you will ensure thecompany acquires, retains, and trains new members to have anoptimal happy workforce.

What skills willyou have?

Ideally, you will haveprior experience in a similar role as a F&B Manager withinthe luxury hotel sector, to give you an understanding of theindustry's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, youshould exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to thedemands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise inRestaurant practices, including organisational skills, positiveattitude, and excellent customer service skill-set, will be key toyour success. A creative and innovative mindset, with exceptionalcommunication skills, are qualities the client values in the idealcandidate.
