Tasks

Step intoLearning are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head ofCentre with expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities(SEND) to oversee our direct and subcontracting activities withinour organisation.

The ideal candidate willpossess a strong understanding of quality management andimprovement in FE education and have a proven track record inensuring Ofsted compliance with relevant regulations and standardsin the context of SEND provision.

Requirements
  • Experienceof leading quality assurance in the education and trainingsector.
  • Working knowledge and experience ofOfsted Education Inspection Framework for Adult Young People andSEND Provision.
  • Previous experience in aquality assurance or compliance role preferably in the context ofsubcontracting or outsourcingarrangements.
  • Strong analytical skills andattention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data andmake evidencebased recommendations.
  • Provenproject management skills including the ability to prioritise tasksmeet deadlines and manage competing demandseffectively.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build effectiverelationships with subcontractors and stakeholders at alllevels.
  • Worked in quality assurance for atleast 1 year.Teachingqualifications.
