Job description Primary Teaching Assistant

Location:  North Shields, Tyne and Wear
Salary:  £83 - £130 per day
Start Date:  ASAP

GSL Education  are seeking dedicated and passionate  Primary Teaching Assistants  to join our client schools in  North Shields, Tyne and Wear . This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting young learners and contributing to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Support the implementation of the primary curriculum and learning activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • A n enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
