CTO & technical Co-Founder for XIO

Introduction:

XIO, a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing the digital asset trading landscape, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced CTO & Technical Co-Founder. We are looking for a leader with a strong understanding of the digital asset trading space and proven experience in building secure and efficient mobile apps.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technological Development: Direct the concurrent technological development and optimization efforts of XIO in close collaboration with the XIO Lead Product Manager and external vendors. Manage and oversee the software development process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Team Building and Management: Recruit and manage a skilled team of in-house developers and data scientists to maintain ongoing operations.
  • Shape Technical Product Vision: Collaborate closely with the team to shape the technical product vision, including AI product roadmap and execution, embracing startup culture, and contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Ensure Platform Security and Scalability: Ensure the security, integrity, and scalability of the XIO platform.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage technical budgets and allocate resources effectively.

Requirements:

  • Full Stack Experience: Proven track record as a CTO or in a similar leadership role in a tech company, preferably in blockchain, with a minimum of 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
  • Mobile Development Expertise: Demonstrated experience in mobile app development, with the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical project experience.
  • Low-Latency Systems Knowledge: Understanding of low-latency trading principles and technologies enabling fast execution times.
  • Technical Infrastructure Skills: Excellent skills in technical architecture and infrastructure supporting high-speed data transmission and processing. Familiarity with traditional data center technologies, virtualization, server hardware, and networking.
  • Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Familiarity: Knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly in cryptocurrency trading contexts, is desirable.
  • Cloud Computing and Data Management Proficiency: Expertise in cloud technologies and big data management, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Regulatory Compliance Awareness: Understanding of regulatory environments surrounding AI.
  • Agile Development Experience: Knowledge of agile methodologies, modern software development processes, and lean project management. Experience with DevOps & SRE practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to audiences ranging from technical experts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
