Position Description

• The ManufacturingAssociate is responsible for the manufacture of therapeuticproteins (API) under cGMP conditions.
• Associates are expected to execute process recipes followwritten procedures (SOPs) monitor equipment and processes performbasic laboratory tasks including pH conductivity and sampling andconduct routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility andequipment.
• They are expected to attain a basicunderstanding of cGMP compliance while training under closesupervision demonstrating aseptic techniques in handling ofproducts and materials.
• Set up operateequipment and monitor production processes including cleaninplace(CIP) and steaminplace (SIP) operations and report production inwritten and electronic documents by good manufacturing practice(GMPs) and good documentation procedures (GDPs) reviewdocumentation as appropriate.
• Attainqualification for all assigned tasks and maintain individualtraining plan.
• Perform basic laboratory taskssuch as monitoring pH and conductivity testing product samplesetc.
• Perform material movements and transferraw materials and chemicals into out of and across the productionareas.
• Maintain facility and equipment throughroutine cleaning and sanitization and supported 6Sprograms.
• Must be willing to gown and work ina clean room environment.
• Administrative tasksattending shift exchange meetings sending/receiving emailsparticipating in projects.
• Perform otherduties as assigned.
