Therole

We are looking for anenthusiastic CAD Technician to support our growth and strengthen ourDesign Team. You will be producing detailed technical drawings to a high degreeof accuracy and provide design support to colleagues and clientsensuring the drawings provided are accurate to projectsuccess.


An idea of what youll bedoing:
  • You willwork closely with design teams throughout the designprocess.
  • You will be assisting in the production ofall drawings and designs ensuring they are prepared and controlledin accordance with CAD quality.
  • Youll maintain and ensure the drawingregister is kept up to date and relevant.
  • You will produce fully developed CADdrawings ready for authorising construction andinstallation.
  • You will assist with any queries anddevelop understanding of CAD drawings across alldepartments.
  • You will participate in discussions andproduce aslaid drawing in line with the operation teamsrequirements.


Requirements

When you join you will gothrough our topnotch induction and onboarding process and haveopportunities to develop further through our inhouse trainingacademy.

Youll have a proven trackrecordof:
  • understanding and determininginformation from drawings standards andspecifications.
  • delivering to timescales working to a Weekly Programmedrafted by others marking up progressachieved.
  • competently usingAutoCAD
Youll already have experience & qualificationsin:
  • Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3points)
  • Proficient in the use of Productivity and CollaborationSoftware such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc.across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptopsetc.
  • Excellent communication including abilityto adapt your communication styles and outstanding listening skillswith ability to follow verbal and writteninstructions
  • Strong interpersonal skillswith demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as workcollaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent knowledge of the ICP industry(DNO/IDNO)
  • Excellent attention to detailwith ability to translate drawings into operationalrequirements
  • Basic awareness of G81documentation
  • Good understanding ofelectrical principles
