PositionOverview:

The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamicGeography department inspiring the next generation of passionateindividuals. The role entails fostering a love for thinking instudents equipping them with essential skills for the modernage.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Geographylessons aligned with the national curriculum and schoolseducational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotesstudent curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providingconstructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within theGeography department and across the school to enhance the learningexperience.
  • Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in the field ofGeography.

Qualificationsand Experience:

  • ABachelors degree or higher in Geography or a relatedfield.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at thesecondary level.
