GP Partner / Salaried GP / Long Term Locum - NORTH GLEN MEDICAL PRACTICE – Ref NGMP/11-23

GP colleague sought for a friendly and welcoming practice SESSIONS: 4 - 8 SESSIONS PER WEEK

North Glen Medical Practice wishes to welcome a GP (Partner / salaried or locum) to work as part of our friendly and exceptional multidisciplinary team for 4 - 8 sessions per week. We are willing to wait for the right candidate. We are looking ideally to welcome a GP partner; however, consideration will also be given for a salaried GP position or a long term locum. The practice is situated in the North of Glenrothes and is within easy commute from all areas of Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Edinburgh. North Glen serves 8,700 patients in the Glenrothes locality and we use EMIS/Docman as our clinical systems. We are patient centred, with a welcoming and highly skilled nursing and admin team who believe in supporting each other to achieve a healthy work life balance. We hold clinical huddles on a daily basis for 30 minutes to discuss case management and promote good communication. We are a forward thinking and innovative practice offering additional services such as our community dermatology service and in house counselling and CBT therapy. We are a ScotGEM training practice and enjoy welcoming both 1st and 2nd year medical students to the practice. The practice is well supported with mental health nursing and first contact physiotherapy, as well as our practice pharmacists and more recently with the introduction of the CTAC (Community Treatment and Care) service providing phlebotomy and treatment room services. Our appointments are mainly face to face, but telephone appointments are also available. Same day emergency appointments are always available. GP appointment lengths are 15 minutes, and our GPs have 20 x 15 minute appointments per day. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual with good interpersonal and communication skills to join our practice and we would be happy to speak further with anyone interested in this position. This position may also qualify for a Golden Hello payment subject to terms and conditions.
