Themoment your journey begins as anapprentice:

You become an employed member ofstaff

Youwill be paid an hourlyrate

Youwill work towards gaining a full qualification without having toattend classroom based lessons. The apprenticeship will last aminimum of 12 months. You will be working towards a Level 2 or 3diploma inChildcare.

Throughoutyour role you are not alone. Parenta offer you full trainingsupport guidance and are here to help you progress your career. Youeven have a personal assessor/tutor assigned to you from the momentyou start your journey as a modernapprentice.

Yourrole willinclude:

Working with children between the ages of 05 years organisingactivities being proactive with the help and care carried outwithin the early years teachingsector.

Assisting and meeting the personal/emotional needs of individualchildren Changing nappies feeding caring and establishing arelationship withchildren.

Work (under supervision) providing all aspects of care/support tochildren ensuring they take part with day to day learning and playactivities.

Ensure that the setting is safe clean and wellpresented.

Collaborate with colleagues ensuring the highest standards of workare carried out and are provided throughout your role in a positivemanner.

Tocontribute to a high quality caring environment for children. Thisincludes creating a warm friendly and stimulating atmosphere inwhich the children can develop emotionally socially andeducationally through individual attention and groupactivities.
