The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee construction of infrastructure for oil and gas facilities, including foundations, pipelines, and support structures.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports, project documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  • Utilize advanced software tools for civil design and project management.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and technologies in civil engineering and the oil and gas industry.

The Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, SAP2000).
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
