Protocol are working with a Further Education College based in South Yorkshire OR Lincolnshire and are looking for an Electrical Installation Assessor to support students within their learning environment. 

The Role: 

The role is offering 35.5 hours a week (full-time) on a Permanent basis. 

Your main duties will include:

  • The planning, delivery, and assessment (including participation in the IQA process where appropriate) of work-based learning in Electrical Installation. This also includes other learnings such as functional skills where required.
  • To ensure classroom & workshop teaching requirements are met within the team through teaching where stipulated by the Curriculum Lead.
  • To undertake Health and Safety monitoring visits in the assigned areas of responsibility
  • To assist the Curriculum Lead in the provision of various College contracts and Apprenticeship programmes.
  • To manage a caseload of learners in consultation with the Curriculum Lead.
  • To work flexibly to meet the requirements of learners, employers, and the College.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Electrical Installation qualifications (preferably via an Apprenticeship)
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
  • Teaching assessing Qualification desirable, however not essential
  • DBS (On update system) or willing to get one
