Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Aston Clinton Dental & Implant Clinic, part of the PortmanDentex Group in Aston Clinton.

No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, possess a specific interest in dentistry and have an aptitude to learn, grow and develop, we want to hear from you. At PortmanDentex, you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

  • Full-time hours - 40 hours per week
  • Typical shifts are Monday - Friday, and one Saturday per month 
  • Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex

About you

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
  • Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
  • Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
