Japanese language EnvironmentalSustainability Data Scorer roles (3month FTC SeptemberNovember)

Do you have a keeneye for data and are passionate about developing a career inenvironmental sustainability Are you able to speak and readJapanese at a native or advanced level We have an excellentopportunity for you to join our fastpaced and diligent scoringteam.

Our client scores companies and cities ontheir environmental performance. We are looking for a number ofscorers to contribute to the successful delivery of the 2024scoring process. This would involve applying scoring methodologiesto various English and Japanese language responses across climatechange water security and forests.

For the rightcandidates this experience could lead to excellent opportunitiesand supercharge a career in sustainability with successfulcandidates receiving training to qualify as a recognised scorer(the role requires scorers to undertake three weeks full time paidtraining followed by an exam).

Keyresponsibilities include:

Workingindependently as part of scoring team to deliver the annual scoringcycle.

Undertake and successfully pass trainingcourse to become a certified scorer.

Scoringcorporate and/or city responses to high degree of accuracy in linewith scoring criteria

Perform quality assurancechecks against defined scoringcriteria

Required skills andexperience:

High attention to detailand ability to work to tight timelines.

Theability to understand and analyse qualitative and quantitativedata.

Good proficiency with IT tools MS tools.Role requires basic Excel skills/web browseruse.

Diligent working style with a proven recordof working independently under tight timelines to deliver projectssuccessfully.

(Desirable not essential) Academicand/or professional experience in climate change water securitydeforestation corporate sustainability and/or sustainablecities.

Japanese language ability at either C1(Advanced) or C2 (Native) level according to the CEFRframework.

Location/hours:

Training to begin September 2024 work to begin October 2024. RoleFinish in October

Scorers will be expected toWFH.

Standard UK working day (9am6pm).

Equipmentrequirements:

Scorers expected to haveown Laptop device to work from 2nd screen/monitor ispreferable.

We will provide licences forrequired software.
