Job Title: Block Paver

Location: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Tamworth

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Construction

Salary: £200 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

• Laying and fitting block paving materials according to project specifications
• Preparing surfaces for paving by removing existing materials
• Cutting and shaping blocks to fit around obstacles
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within set deadlines

Required Qualifications:

 

• Experience in block paving or a similar role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in block paving or a related field

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of different paving materials and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in construction or landscaping
• Health and Safety training
• CSCS

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Physical demanding role requiring lifting and bending
• Use of protective equipment such as gloves and safety boots
