Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Harlow, Essex. The position offers a flexible work schedule of 4 to 5 days per week, with negotiable shift times. Accommodation is available if needed. Participation in out-of-hours (OOH) duties would be welcomed, but it is not a requirement for the role. Location: Harlow, Essex (commutable from Hertfordshire)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Work Schedule: 4 to 5 days per week (negotiable)
Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Accommodation: Available if required
Out-of-Hours (OOH): Participation welcomed but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal cases, including both routine and emergency work.
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as required.
- Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients.
- Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
- Participate in out-of-hours duties, if willing, to assist with emergency cases.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Strong clinical skills in both medicine and surgery.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to contribute to OOH shifts is a plus, but not required.
