Psychology Graduate - SEND Teaching Assistant

£77 to £95 per day dependent on experience

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Warrington who are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.

About the Role

  • Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring relationship.
  • Help pupils set and achieve personal and academic goals.
  • Share knowledge and expertise in a specific field or area of interest.
  • Assist pupils in developing new skills and overcoming challenges.
  • Act as a role model and provide positive reinforcement to pupils.
  • Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with a range of pupils.

You will Need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Active listening skills to understand individual pupils' needs and concerns.
  • Empathy and the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils.
  • Patience and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
