We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester/Test Manager to join our quality assurance team in Napiers Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, usability, and reliability of our software applications through rigorous testing processes. 
Your day to day: Test Manager
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
  • Maintain testing documentation, including test case repositories and defect reports.
  • Assist in the development of automated testing strategies as needed.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Do you have what it takes?Preferred skills; 
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, QTest).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to have’s:
  • Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
