Job description

Step Teachers are working with a primary schools in St Neots and Surrounding  that strives to create a safe and happy learning community where everyone is supported and motivated to reach their full potential. And are currently looking for a Year 3/4 Supply Teacher to join their team Immediately or in October 2024. The Year 3/4 Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Primary level pupils. The Year 3/4 Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.

Year 3/4 Teacher - Role:

  • Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • The Year 3/4 Teacher should be able to maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • The Year 3/4 Teacher should be compliant with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Year 3/4 Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 3/4 Teacher – Key Stage2  .
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
