Maintenance Engineering and Turnaround Leader

We’re looking for an exceptional Maintenance Engineering and Turnaround Lead to manage all aspects of site maintenance and turnaround, driving reliability, availability, and efficiency to new heights.
Role Purpose:As the Maintenance Engineering and Turnaround Lead, you’ll lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance and turnaround activities. Your mission? To optimise reliability, maximise output, ensure safety, and control costs while maintaining compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement both short-term and long-term maintenance and turnaround strategies to meet our business goals.
- Team Management: Lead a diverse team of professionals, including multi-discipline engineers and maintenance planners, to ensure all maintenance activities are meticulously planned and executed.
- Cost Management: Oversee a substantial budget, managing costs related to maintenance and turnarounds while contributing to the long-term asset plan.
- Safety and Compliance: Drive safety leadership across all activities, integrating safe working practices and ensuring compliance with all quality and certification standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement programs to elevate our maintenance engineering and turnaround processes to best-in-class levels.
Experience and Skills:
We’re seeking a leader with demonstrable experience in managing complex engineering assets and working on COMAH-regulated industrial plants. Your expertise should span multi-discipline engineering, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement techniques. You’ll also need:
- A degree in a relevant discipline and Chartered Engineer status.
- Full membership in a relevant professional body.
- Proven track record in implementing global maintenance work processes and turnaround methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
