Responsibilities

Undertake all aspects of analysis work supporting the Pipe Modules team including:Scoping calcs (Hand analysis) & analysis plansAnalysis to Eurocode 3 / Cranes code etc.Analysis reporting utilising MathcadTeamcenter input & interrogationOccasional FE creation (S-Frame / Staad Pro) Ensure ‘Right First Time’ is met in-line with Marine Business KPI’s. Be involved with continuous improvement process & offer improvement suggestions. Interfacing with external stakeholders to understand technical issues / specifications. Attend and contribute to design reviews (both internal and external) where required Working in accordance with Expleo QMS and customer quality requirements. Work in a team-based environment, have good written and verbal communication skills and be capable of making sound technical judgements and appropriate decisions.

Experience

· Stress experience required – Hand calcs

· Mathcad experience required

· Staad Pro / S-Frame FE desirable but not essential

· Marine Defence experience preferred.

· Proactive ‘Team Player’ with a focus on delivery and quality.

· Good communicator who is professional during interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost, time and quality constraints.

· Competencies required in this role will include: Decision Quality, Creativity, Technical Learning, Composure and Customer Focus.

· Candidates should have a Degree / HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or an associated discipline
