As an iOS Software Engineer III JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator’s Engineering team, you are the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. Job responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable code and ensure best practices are used Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement Help implement and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our products at the forefront of innovation Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Work closely with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Proactively identify problems and patterns using data, and drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and proficient applied experience Experience with common iOS architecture patterns, including MVVM Strong experience with Swift and familiarity with Objective-C and its runtime Familiarity with testing capabilities (XCTest including unit and UI tests) and approaches Excellent problem solving skills and critical thinking Understanding iOS app performance dimensions and tools (Instruments) Proficient understanding of version control tools such as Git Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages with performance in mind Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodologies, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Cryptography and cryptographic services on iOS Some experience with CI/CD automation Combine or other reactive frameworks React Native Swift UI
