Qualifications

Essential criteria

Attainment of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) certificate/foundation level qualifications or NVQ level 3 qualification in a supply chain, customer care or transferable subject or equivalent training and/or proven professional experience

Desirable criteria

Fork lift truck training Evidence of continuing professional development Full car driving licence

Experience / Knowledge

Essential criteria

Experience of inventory / materials management or warehousing processes Knowledge of operational buying processes, goods receipt/return etc. Knowledge of inventory management systems and theory

Desirable criteria

Operational experience gained within a multifunctional procurement or supply chain te

Techinal Skills Competencies

Essential criteria

Good keyboard skills with working knowledge of applications including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook Able to operate simple machinery to facilitate safe manual handling

Personal Attributes

Good customer care & approachable attitude Able to undertake manual handling tasks Able to work flexibly within a shift pattern which may include occasional weekend and bank holiday working
